Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. Then, she appeared on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner became huge at the National Theater. In the same year, she released Her first album, It's time for Tina. Louise started her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a drama film. It was a huge hit and Louise earned an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. She signed on with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her work between Broadway TV and Hollywood, portraying more somber roles as in contrast to her portrayal of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned a name for herself as a successful director in various well-known television shows like Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex, Ontario on 29th August in 1965. The family moved to Toronto at the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Her home was in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
