Jhene Aiko is an American R&B artist and singer. Her fame was heightened in 2011 with the mix tape called Sailing Souls(s) that was made available on her personal website. She began singing for R&B groups as early as her teenage years. This false publicity was intended to make her appear as the cousin of B2K rapper Lil Fizz. Sail Out The Worst Uh Huh & Why I Like You were her most popular tracks. Cherry Pie marked her 2002 debut as a vocalist in The Master of Disguise's soundtrack. In addition, she appeared in ORyans first video"Take It Slow. She is a R&B Hip-Hop Rap artist. Her single 3:16 AM which she released under the popular publishing house A&R gained her acclaim; the song was made available for digital download through iTunes. Her international fame was gained by her joining Canadian rapper Drake and was part of his album "Nothing Was the Same". The Worst peaked in May 2014, averaging No.11 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop section in the US Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop-Airplay chart. In 2015 she was a nominee for 'Grammy Awards in three categories.
